Want to be featured in the AP News or other local and national media outlets?
We invite you to “Tell Us a Story, Local.”
At AskForRed.com, we believe the best businesses aren’t built on ads, they’re built on stories.
As a local real estate agent living and working right here, I’m surrounded by neighbors and friends whose businesses define our neighborhoods. This series is my way of shining a light on the people behind the businesses that make them strong. Through our “Tell Us a Story Local” sessions, in collaboration with Belmont City Press LLC, we sit down (virtually) with local business owners to capture what they do, who they serve, and why it matters, then turn that into content they can actually use. We also issue a press release about your appearance, with the potential for pickup by local and national media outlets. And yes, it’s all done at no charge to you.
We are looking for local businesses to feature on our "Tell Us a Story Local" podcast. If you want content, visibility, and a simple way to tell your story... let’s get you scheduled.

The goal is to create a 30-minute “commercial-style” conversation about your business, then turn it into short, social media–ready clips you can actually use in your marketing. Email Red

You’ll schedule time with Red for a prep session where we craft your 30-second elevator pitch and map out the exact questions for your recording so you feel confident and clear. Email Red

We record your “Tell Us a Story” conversation based on the prep work. This can be done in one sitting or split into two sessions—whatever works best for you. (all in takes about 90 minutes). Email Red

Sit back while we handle editing and production. We typically generate 15–20 short-form social media ready clips for you to use across your platforms. Email Red

With your new content library, you’ll be able to plan and schedule consistent, on-brand posts without scrambling for what to say or create next. Email Red

We feature you alongside other local businesses in a press release tied to your appearance, with potential pickup from outlets like the Associated Press (AP News), WPRI, and other NBC/CBS affiliates—and we show you how to use that exposure in your marketing. Email Red

This is about more than marketing—it’s about community. As a local real estate agent, I live and work alongside neighbors and friends whose businesses shape our neighborhoods. When local businesses grow, our communities grow. A rising tide lifts all boats, and this is one way I can help support the people and places that make our neighborhoods stronger.
